A LIttle Work and a Little Fun

I started working on a new campaign and logo in Feb.
called "Kingdom Women". This is a new initiative from the
International Mission Board inspiring women to embrace
God’s heart for the world He created and the peoples He loves.

On Wed. Sherri and I drove to South Carolina for an
overnight retreat and planning time at the Hemphill home.

The Team: Me (designer), Sherri (writer)
and Paula (Women's Mobilization Consultant)

This is an ad promoting the "Kingdom Women"
e-newsletter. We are working on the first one which
will be sent out in July.

Look at their beautiful gardens!

We went on a walk ... I would love to see
this everyday!

Their daughter Tina planted a lot of the flowers in these
gardens. It was so beautiful! I worked with Tina at the IMB
back in 1999. She is a very talented artist!

I Finally Made the Cupcake Pops!

I finally made them! Thank you Julia for introducing me to
the Bakerella Blogsite. I just love the site ... it is so neat.
I've got some of these pops in the freezer to give to you
when you get back from Destin.

Panama City Beach Day 3

Amanda's playdough and shell artwork.

On our last full day in PCB, we went to St. Andrews State
Park. I highly recommend it. It was so beautiful there.
Amanda loved it because we went to this inlet where there
were no big waves. The water was so clear!

You can see Shell Island in the background.
A lot of people go there to snorkel and jet ski.

Here is a jelly fish. There were a lot of them in the water.
Apparently they are the non-stinging kind because we saw
little kids (minus Amanda) holding them.

We went to Alligator Lake in St. Andews State Park.

The park is known for having a lot of deer.

Amanda being silly back at the condo.

Panama City Beach Day 2

Amanda has on different floaties because she bit a
hole in the other two matching ones. I finally figured
out why they kept deflating after the second pair!

Panama City Beach Day 1

This is the view from our condo. We stayed at the Wyndham
Resort which is new and really nice.

We had fried shrimp right down the street at Sharky's.
Amanda enjoyed playing on the pirate ship there.
