Froggie at the Pool!

My parents came for a visit in July to help me take care of
Amanda while I was working on a big freelance project
(the fall 07 issue of The Commission Magazine). They went
to the pool almost everyday.

My Best Friend

This is what Amanda said to me the other day:

Are you Mommy? I said yes.
Are you Tasha? I said yes.
Are you my best friend? Of course I said yes.

Scary Jungle

The light was off in the dining room last night and Amanda came running to me. She said, "Mommy, the dining room is a scary jungle!"

Bob and I rearranged the living room a few days ago. We moved our big entertainment unit across the room. I took all of my big plants that were on top of the unit plus plants from other areas in the room and put them all on the dining room table for the time being. I plan to do some deep cleaning/dusting in the living room today.

I thought what Amanda said was so funny and imaginative!

Happy 4th of July

We had a nice time on the 4th of July in Dalonega, Georgia
at Bob's parents house. Tom and Mary had a celebration for
former MM Baptist Church friends.

Amanda enjoyed picking blackberries. Once she picked a
cup full of the berries, she wanted to hang on to the cup
for the rest of the day!

Amanda stayed at her Grandparents yesterday. She will be there
until Friday so that Mommy can get some work done on
theCommission Magazine which goes to the printer on August 30th.
Please pray that Natasha will be able to get it finished by then. :)

Celebrate America Fireworks Show

We had a fun time at the "Celebrate America" fireworks show
in Duluth, Georgia tonight. Amanda was a little scared of the
fireworks at first. She wanted to go home because she did not
like the "boom, boom" sound. She was O.K. after a few minutes
as long as she was sitting in daddy's lap.
